Important Safety Disclaimer: Commercial & Heavy-Duty Vehicles

Wheel Re-Torque Requirement:

Tulsa Time Tires & Services prioritizes your safety. Due to the high-vibration nature of heavy-duty and commercial vehicles, industry safety standards require that all wheel fasteners (lug nuts) be re-torqued by the customer or an authorized technician after the first 50 to 100 miles of operation following any tire service or wheel removal.

Limitation of Liability:

• Customer Responsibility: It is the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner or operator to ensure this safety check is performed.

• Assumption of Risk: Failure to re-torque wheel fasteners can lead to wheel separation, property damage, or serious injury.

• Waiver: Tulsa Time Tires & Services shall not be held liable for any damages, accidents, or mechanical failures resulting from the customer's failure to comply with this mandatory re-torque procedure or for any pre-existing wheel/stud damage discovered during service.

Safety Notice: Wheel Re-Torque & Maintenance

Passenger & Light-Duty Vehicles:

For your continued safety, Tulsa Time Tires & Services recommends that all customers have their wheel lug nuts inspected and re-torqued to the manufacturer’s specifications within 25 to 50 miles of driving after any tire installation or repair involving wheel removal.

Limitation of Liability:

• General Maintenance: While we provide expert installation, the shifting of wheels during the initial "break-in" period after service is a natural mechanical occurrence. The vehicle owner is responsible for ensuring the wheels remain tightened to the manufacturer’s recommended torque.

• Pre-existing Conditions: Tulsa Time Tires & Services is not responsible for damages resulting from pre-existing mechanical issues, including but not limited to: stripped lug nuts, rusted or damaged wheel studs, or warped rims.

• Secondary Damages: We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (such as lost time or alternative transportation costs) following a roadside repair or tire service.
